i dont understand how they can add a guitarist like Nels Cline and somehow get more traditional... it doesnt make sense. in any case, i still think there new stuff is really solid, even if its not as great as YHF or the underrated Ghost is Born. saw them live after Sky Blue Sky came out and they rocked it.

probably suggest "March 16-20, 1992" by Uncle Tupelo, if you're a fan of the more folky stuff

Shouldn't Summerteeth be red? It's got plenty of acclaim.

^^ I'd agree with that.

Been listening to these guys a bit more than usual lately. Good stuff. They were also awesome live when I saw them back in May.

Anyone else think Sky Blue Sky should be bolded?

I think A Ghost is Born should be bolded more than Sky Blue Sky. Way more acclaimed. Also, the general consensus of the album has seemed to grow quite a lot in recent years.

Summerteeth shouldn't be red just because it's not YHF.

my personal preference
1. A Ghost is Born
2. YHF
3. A.M. (come on, Box Full of Letters, I Must Be High? good stuff)
4. Summerteeth
5. Being There
6. Sky Blue Sky
7. Wilco (The Album)

alternative rock Wilco just barely > alternative country Wilco > trad rock Wilco

honestly though i'd take all of them over most bands' best stuff.
