Any recommendations? I've already heard Far from Refuge and loved it.

The best ambient album I've ever heard is Aglaia's Three Organic Experiences. Highly recommended.

Other favorites of mine:

The KLF's Chill Out
David Parsons' In Retrospect: 1980-2003
Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, Vol. II
Tangerine Dream's Phaedra

Nice to see somebody else liking the album too! I recommended it once to MitchNZ, he seemed to dig it (judging by the comments). I agree, fantastic album.

Aww, man... that last track, "Seven Ancient Glaciers," sends me to another world. I used to meditate to it all the time. It's great to fall asleep to, as well. Have you heard any of their other material, Timi? Reverberant Skies is another great work.

3 organic experiences is dope. Still the most interesting (and loudest) concert experience I've ever had was seeing Fennesz in a proper concert hall with amazing acoustics, dark lighting, and trippy, fucked up visuals to go with his music. Thinking back on it, that was probably the most affecting hour or so of my life, and he was only one of the three artists I saw that night.

George showed me this I think about a year ago and it's still probably the best ambient music I've heard. Inspired by the Tarkovsky film of the same name.
