Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden are two of the most perfect albums ever made. Right now I prefer Laughing Stock.

Both of them should be redbolded. Possibly the two most evenly matched "masterpiece" albums by a band when it comes to acclaim. It's almost impossible to say which one of the two is the greater, and if you really want one to be bolded above the other, then you better have a damn good reason.

I'd have both of the last two orange, Color of Spring red, and possibly It's My Life bold, but that could probably be left as it is.

Favourite group. Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock have gotta both be orange, and like snoogs said, The Colour of Spring should be red.

Is every artist entitled to oranges? I think TT would be better off with two reds and a bold for CoS.

yes. Every artist gets 1-2 orange albums (excepting special cases like Dylan, Beatles, The Stones and Miles) excepting "small" discographies. TT is on the borderline of what I consider a "small" discography (5-6 albums), so i'll give them 2 oranges.

I like Snoogans "last two in bold, Colour in red, It's My Life in bold".

Laughing Stock remains Recommended First Listen.

Why the fucked up fuck isn't Mark Hollis' solo album praised by anyone here? It's incredible.

The Party's Over>It's My Life imo
Also the song The Party's Over is my favorite TT song though Life's What You Make It is pretty close.

Laughing Stock reissue!
http://pitchfork.com/news/43931-talk-ta ... -reissued/

Hopefully there's something more than a barebones release and the remastering (if any) isn't just "we made the album louder".

ahh did not even know we had a talk talk thread.

christmas always makes me think of this, even though its possible relation is the sleigh bell-like outro to it. one of the most uplifting songs ever
