Didn't know that... My bad.
Anyway, I still think Resurrection is a good candidate.

Shitloads of solo Halford on Dime, grab them while they're up!

Listening to a 2003 show with audio quality labelled A+++. Hot damn, this is awesome. Halford appears to be in fine voice on "Painkiller", the first song of the set, and the audio is indeed stellar. It's like listening to a live album.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but do you have a link?
I already heard that his new live album Live In Anaheim (recorded in 2003) has nice vocals and the best version of Painkiller.

Hmmm, there's talk on Dime that this may not be lossless after all, but a bunch of mp3's that could be downloaded from Rob's website. And it may also be the one containing the best version of "Painkiller"...

Wow, he actually sings the intro to "Resurrection" here, and the audio is indeed lossless!

You guys should really download the Osaka '00 bootleg, Halford's voice in insane, with great versions of (only played twice on this tour) The Ripper and Beyond the Realms of Death

I'm downloading the second one, since I assume the first one is the same as his new live album...

That was the first one I downloaded when I noticed all these Halford boots on Dime. It's really awesome, both sound-wise and performance-wise.

It can't be, because they're not allowed to upload official stuff on Dime. And they're actually saying it's from a different show than the new live album.

I just compared it to the "Painkiller" on the DVD. They're not the same, but they're both as good as it gets. Awesome.

Bad news for JP-fans: Judas Priest are deforming after their upcoming final tour called Epitaph-tour. :freak:

http://judaspriest.com/news/fullstory.a ... A2431C9B2D

"After storming the world for nearly 40 years and taking their very special brand of heavy metal to all four corners of the planet, JUDAS PRIEST - one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, have announced this will be their final world tour!!

However, the mighty PRIEST will certainly be going out strong as they rock the planet starting in 2011 on the massive EPITAPH tour - hitting all the major cities throughout the world they will be playing the songs that helped make the name JUDAS PRIEST synonymous with heavy metal!

With all guns blazing and amps cranked to eleven, the band will be giving all their fans one last chance to witness the ultimate metal experience that is JUDAS PRIEST!

JUDAS PRIEST will be starting their world tour in Europe - we have just confirmed the following festivals for 2011 -

9th June Sweden Rock Festival, Sweden
11th June Sauna Festival, Finland
17th June Copenhell Festival, Copenhagen, Denmark
19th June Hellfest, Nantes, France
22nd June Gods of Metal Festival, Milan, Italy
25th June Graspop Festival, Belgium
23rd July HIgh Voltage Festival, London, UK
5th August Wacken Festival, Germany"

Didn't expect this coming but I'm hoping that their last tour is going to be epic!
