I agree, Only One Woman is definitely his best vocal and I really like that approach... I think I might get one of his solo albums...

 Practically every Bonnet song is a ridiculous vocal tour-de-force, which is why he couldn't perform any of it live.

True, it's one I'd never heard before, and it's by far one of his best.

I can think of only 2 singers who could've performed his material live...

I can't think of any to be honest. Nobody could hit high notes with that much chest connection night after night in a live setting. Your voice would get blown the fuck out.

This guy could do it, but without that much chest voice, listen to this flawless live piece of singing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wusq2ML25c

And

Not even this guy?

i was going to say Adam, but i don't think that was the best example.
Personally, i think that version is pretty weak.

Kiske is a fantastic live singer but there's no way he could sing something like Stand in Line or Hiroshima Mon Amour and sound good doing it. Bonnet uses extremely heavy chest connection, hence the gruffness of his high register... He never thins out or sounds falsettish when he goes high.

Lambert's technique is completely different from Bonnet's... he would be able to hit the notes but would he sound right/good singing Bonnet's material? I doubt it. Plus, Bonnet's much more of a chest puller than Lambert... much more likely to fuck your voice up using Graham's technique

I was going by JRB's opinion, I haven't heard much versions of that song, but seriously, you could post any performance where he uses his head voice! :thumb:

He does use gruffness in chest voice, but his highs are crystal clear most of the time...

Only in the studio though. In concert he pulled chest too much. Freddie had the same problem.

But we are saying about singing his studio stuff live, Kiske could sing Hiroshima while remaining crystal clear...
