Get back to me on that, I'm seriously curious. Actually, you think you could help me figure out a few singer's ranges if I send you some vids to note check? I'd appreciate it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpmrFdbFhmw Anyone who can tell me what the note at 3.27 is?

I'm getting an A, but really unsure about the octave.

Deep Purple - Soldier of Fortune - http://picosong.com/BSN/

I finally attempted this one (the backing track is by Igor Presnyakov, incredible Youtube guitarist) and I think this one succeeded pretty well. I'm especially satisfied with the intro which IMO sounds a bit like Coverdale at first. But yes, what do you people think?

Think you posted in the wrong thread, Timi!
Anyway, your tone there was great, and I loved those little phrasing changes you made in the second verse. The only bad thing I could think of is the accent, which something you'll surely improve.

Ooooops!

Thanks for the comments! I tried to concentrate more on phrasing and tone for this song instead of diction, such a fun song to sing!
