What's the note at 2:20 here? I'm guessing B4 or so. Thanks to Sherick for introducing this one to me!

It was high C (C5), pretty fantastic vocal solo... :eh:

That whole concert (Osaka 78) is fantastic!

I was starting to think that was actually closer to E5 since I was remembering how effortless Kiske can make that note sound when he sings it (ie Farewell).

Nah Eb5, great high singing though and his widest display of range... need to go back to the low note to see if I still agree on Eb2 to whispered C2. I still find Key to the Universe a more impressive display of range overall since there's an entire verse or two down low and it sounds awesome where as Absolution just has that one weak low note... highs are just as good in either song. Kiske is so great.

I agree and Key is my favorite performance of his.

Can someone tell me how high are the background notes in the chorus? ("In a corner...forgotten by no oooooooooonnnnnne"). I've been wondering this for some time.

Ray, if you're still around, I figured it would be less mad here

Didn't want to clutter up the Barlow thread with this, but I am now completely certain that this is in fact Jon Schaffer. I believe I'm getting a G#1 as the bottom there?
And this clip here is gonna drive me mad.

Highest note that I'm aware of is G#4s (lots of em!) in Gift or a Curse.

EDIT: D5 in Our Dying Republic!

0:31? Almost positive it's a C#2 or a C2.

I'm not good at pitching low notes, so maybe someone else will check it out, but I'll take a stab at E2?
