Run of the Mill - Judas Priest

http://www.sendspace.com/file/ysst84

I was driving in the rain so there is a lot of background noise. I actually had recorded this a while ago and intended to redo the ending in head voice but haven't had a chance to really practice it so I went with the falsetto version.

No ones been to this forum for a while so hopefully i get some comments and others start posting again.

"Born This Way" from a gig I did at school a couple months ago.

Vocal monitors weren't very good, but I thought we sounded decent.

Great performance, and not just the singing

My attempt at singing "Beth": I tried to get somewhat 'boyish' and sad tone there, not sure if that succeeded but I think it is okay. I like my lower tone in the ending.

My vocal cover of Living Colour's "Love Rears Its Ugly Head": http://www.zshare.net/audio/9216515946b476b5/

The ending was pretty tough but I think I succeeded pretty well with the song and sometimes got okay tone on those belts... There was no karaoke-version of it in Youtube (apart from 30-second clip of the one which costs money) so you can hear the music in the background, just really quiet. Damn, Corey Glover has a fantastic voice.

This place is pretty much dead nowadays but I still decided to post, maybe some lost soul reads my post or something. :snacks:

My latest cover, Stone Sour's "Through Glass": I love the vocals of the original and I think I mostly did it pretty well. The ending Bb4 proved to be tricky (because of the rasp and strain Taylor puts into it) but I somehow managed to pull it off. The note definitely isn't perfect but I'm happy that I found a way to add intentional strain: I'll try to practice it and make it easier and more comfortable to me without strain or anything.

always liked your stuff man , ace ace vibrato , tone , delivery , pretty much nailed it and that flexibility in the vibrato was always admirable ...... you seem to have improved from previous times
