damn, 150 albums, you weren't kiddin', you really were down with 2011 in a major way

yeah it's the first year since 2007 i've listened to more than 200 albums from. usually im happy if i can make time for 50-100 albums a year. 2008-2010 i was busy catching up on older shit + delving into international musics

2011 was just that good, and though i listen to a lot, i'm still pretty niche in my preferences. my list is nowhere close to being representative of how much good music was being made all year long

Epic list, Rashed. It does a better job at getting me to want to listen to certain albums than most webzines, etc., but that's probably because I think you have a seemingly unparalleled great taste in music ha. Did you get to St. Vincent's Strange Mercy? What did you think? I thought the singles were pretty excellent, but I've heard mixed things about the album itself.
