he most certainly did, its a great track. one of his other most brilliant compositions i forgot to mention in a previous post is elementals from time changes, definitely worth checking out and possibly his greatest work.

george, have you heard the desmond album 'like someone in love'? its actually the rest of the paul desmond quartet live with bick recording, thank heavens theres more of that godly performance!

duets from 75 really is another gem. dave imbues even more rhythm and percussiveness into his playing and desmond is at the height of his powers

The more I hear Desmond, the more I am astounded by the effortlessness of his tone. As an alto player, if I ever achieve half of the feeling he can get I'll consider my life a success.

RIP Dave. He performed at my university a few years ago and I got a chance to see him. It was great definitely one of the best concerts I've attended.
