Sampson,
Are you still interested in discussing this list?

I will, but I'd much rather this list be more broadly incorporated into the overall Greatest Rock Vocalist list. I know that it's been integrated to a degree, and I'm very pleased to see that thread has some of the most passionate discussions on the whole site, which is great, but until there's a little more equity in the rankings I think the seperation of the two lists, though understandable (think of it as if there was a seperate hard rock/metal vocalist list, where those singers could still appear in the larger Rock Vocalist list), is still kind of detrimental overall, since it allows whichever group of fans who dominate a discussion to concentrate in a different area of the forum. I know there's plenty of talk there on all types of artists, I'm not saying that anyone's completely ignored, but if this is revived as a lively place for debate I have a feeling, through no one's fault maybe, that the talk might become more segregated again.

Sampson,
Why the forum has two links for the same list?

By the way, I hope you comeback with another revision!

Check out this survey from Birmingham, AL. "Let's Work Together" is a "pick hit" already in early May, 1969. The record did not chart until like 7 months later.

That was a typo, Sampson was gonna have Usher work the event as an usher, showing the great singers down to their seats.

And usher female artists like Bettye LaVette, who is not even on the greatest female R&B/Soul Vocalists list...

BTW, knowing that you're a Nirvana fan and all (hence your username), Neg, I know that you're a Who fan as well...and she did a stunning rendition of The Who's "...Reign..."
