#1. Touch - Touch

It's almost completely unknown now, but it's often considered to be one of the first ventures into the progressive realm by a psychedelic artist. It took me a good 4 months to get a low-quality copy of it, and another year to get a lossless one. But at the time, it created a flood of "What the fuck are they doings?" by virtually every major name of the mid-to-late 60s (including Hendrix). Yes and Kansas cite the album as an influence, but even though it has no popularity, it pretty much obliterates in everything else.

Also, the sounds on the album were made without any synthesizers, and no one remembers how the studio effects were achieved.

Maybe this should be renamed 'most important albums to the creation of progressive rock', in which Sgt. Peppers should be #1...

... and material from Moondog in the 50`s and 60`s ...... and Kenny Graham and his Satellites from the UK and his progressive elements with this album in 1956 called "Moondog and Suncat Suites." with 16 tracks .... Take care
