We all cool with keeping this thread and deleting the old one?

Not sure if we need 3 Iced Earth albums in the top 20. I feel like Hammerfall's Glory to the Brave should be in there somewhere.

Even then, the combination is weird. Something Wicked is usually regarded one of their weakest overall records, albeit with a number of signature tunes on it, and doesn't really fit the "power metal" moniker outside of the last three songs.

Well we're still working on 11-20. The only feedback I've gotten on 11-20 is from JRA so if anyone else wants to offer some input that would be fine. Taking out Something Wicked and replacing it with Glory to the Brave seems like the right way to go.

Once again, Night of the Stormrider should trade with Burnt Offerings.

Everyone okay with the list so far? The other list has some Lost Horizon and Virgin Steele albums ranked pretty highly but I don't know if they deserve to be on our list as of yet.

All right if everyone is okay with the top 20 we'll move on to the top 30. Anyone who wants to add their picks for #21-30 please do so.

I would have The Spectre Within or Awaken the Guardian in the top 20, but otherwise there isn't much to complain about.

Which album would you replace then?

Thirded. I'd actually have both of those albums in the top 20.
