Hah yeah I was thinking of that- there's so much anticipation that I'm sure a good number of fans will be disappointed if the album is anything short of awesome. It'll have to be better than the s/t to satisfy.

In the youtube videos of Wintersun, one comment is fairly frequent: Jari is god. Its going to be difficult for him to live upto that now. He is a wonderful musician no doubt. Anyone knows how many copies the first album sold?

Seeing Helloween today, so in light of that, I checked out some tunes on the new album. It's not that bad, actually. Some pretty fast ass double bass going on in "Are You Metal".. Kinda surprised me.

I didn't think their new album was all that bad either. Still not exactly a fan, though.

I am a fan, though! And the concert was really, really great. They had a great connection with the crowd, great musicianship and a pretty well rounded setlist. Personally, I would've liked to hear "Mr. Torture", "Push", "Falling Higher" or something like that, but when you have as many albums as they have it's hard to do. They also promoted this contest where you were supposed to dress up as Dr. Stein and the best ten Dr. Stein costumes would get up on stage during "Dr. Stein" and rock out. Was pretty fun, except we barely had ten costumes in the building. :ninja: Deris did a good job, but had some really puny falsetto screams like two-three times, where I guess he couldn't quite pull off what Kiske did. I don't blame him, though. Overall an insanely good job of him.

Yeah, even though I only really like Walls of Jericho and about 50% of the Keepers albums, there's no denying that they're fun live. It's similar thing with Testament, though they have nothing as strong as WoJ.

Why is Grace Under Pressure on this list yet nothing from Kiss, Van Halen or Bathory anywhere to be found?

Yeah Rush definitely isn't a Metal band, especially their 80s material

and a decent chunk that is on the list (Sir Lord Baltimore, Budgie, Warlord) isn't in that stupid database.

Fuck, neither The Number of the Beast nor Screaming For Vengeance is in there!!

Oh, just because some random .com website says that Rush are Metal, that must make it true.

I mean I'll admit 2112, Hemishperes and maybe even Moving Pictures belong on that list, but Grace Under Pressure doesn't (and I like that album).
