Ugh, so much for me trusting wikipedia.
I checked over a good bunch of other albums (with no luck) on wikipedia/metal archives/google but with any luck wiki will be right with those.

Yeah, I haven't been trusting wikipedia. Besides, I had Ensiferum's debut already for the release date on RYM. I'm just going to have to spend another couple of hours sifting through prog metal bands I've never heard of.

On the topic of fun metal, though it's pretty distant from that stuff, has anyone heard Dunderbeist? Formed out of the ashes of Stonegard and another band, they have a more jovial approach to metal. Extremely positive experience to see them live, especially since the vocalist was as stellar as it gets.

OK, guys. I kind of need your help now.
I have this [metal] song stuck in my head; I am 90% sure it's Queensryche, but I can't figure out which song (I checked out the most popular ones on YT, but no success; maybe it's not even Queensryche).
Anyway, it's slow[er] (somehow similar to Manowar's "The Crown And The Ring"'s pace and feeling), and I think it's having something like "stand and fight" in the lyrics. Thanks for your help!

I can't think of any Queensryche songs that resemble that Manowar one.
Can you describe it any further?

I think the "stand and fight" part should have been a dead giveaway that it's a Manowar song.

I just hope the vocalists will never find out that I've mistaken the guy from Manowar with Geoff Tate :mrgreen:

Hah yeah I was thinking of that- there's so much anticipation that I'm sure a good number of fans will be disappointed if the album is anything short of awesome. It'll have to be better than the s/t to satisfy.
