The Deluge, Open The Gates or Crystal Logic. Their newer albums (Voyager and Spiral Castle) aren't too bad a place to start if production is too much of a problem, but I think the three I mentioned are better to begin with.

I remember listening to a few tracks after you recommended them some time one or two years ago, but I didn't really get into them. Then I heard a track off The Deluge and one off Crystal Logic last night and really enjoyed them, so I better give them a proper chance.

Just picked up Krallice's latter two albums from the library. Gonna give 'em a listen and, being a complete noob to metal, rate 'em later. What's the general consensus on them here?

I like Krallice but most of the rest of this metal section probably don't (brc especially).
