Too bad the list is lacking an 'awesomeness' criterion. SNM would be top 3.

Welcome To Hell outside top 10 is a blasphemy. It was hell of an album.

I have it at #11. You're saying that one spot makes that much of a difference?

I wasn't saying it should be tenth. Sixth would be suitable.

You think it's more deserving than Melissa?

There's very little doubt as to which one is the better album, but I think Welcome to Hell beats it in everything that counts here.

Well yeah, I can see that, being one of the very first albums that 'evil' and extreme at the same time...
So then what about this...

1. Black Sabbath
2. Kill 'Em All
3. Iron Maiden
4. Blizzard Of Ozz
5. Welcome To Hell
6. Holy Diver
7. Scream Bloody Gore
8. Melissa
9. Lightning To The Nations
10. Bonded By Blood

I still feel like Blizzard of Ozz is too high.

I actually was debating whether or not to say this, but I think Holy Diver should move down a couple of spots.

IM > KEA if the third criteria is originality instead of popularity.

Blizzard of Ozz and Holy Diver should stay above Scream Bloody Gore and the best debut album of all time.

Should those two even be counted as debut albums? By DDD's standards, a solo debut from a well known, seasoned artist isn't really a debut.

I see your point, but Blizzard of Ozz is very different from the Black Sabbath sound, plus the guitar work is way too important to ignore. With Dio it's not so much the case with both but I think it should still be there.

Heaven & Hell was also very different from the Black Sabbath sound.

No, your original point was lame.
I'm just throwing it out there though, I'm not necessarily saying Ozzy and Dio should be taken off, but by DDD's standards they might not qualify.
