Sorry to post two power metal songs in a row, but I think some of you would enjoy this heavier style of power metal. The vocalist in particular has a much more raspy voice than most power metal I've heard. Of course, this comes with a fairly heavy amount of cheese, but this band was the first power metal band I heard and I honestly thought I was a power metal fan until I heard more of the genre.

Yeah Persuader are a notch ahead of most. You should definitely give Kiuas a listen if you haven't already. They're predominantly power but have heavy folk influences in a number of their songs, along with thrash and death influences in a couple of other songs through blast beats or the occasional harsh vocals.
