I've heard some older rap songs that I thought were cool, and I heard an Eminem album recently that had some songs I liked. I would like to hear some of the classic releases, the ones that modern day rappers and hippity-hoppers find inspirational. I bought a Public Enemy album called It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, but it hasn't really grabbed me yet.

Pave, do you happen to be a fan of "Infinite"? I think that's Eminem's most underrated album.

well it has to be his most underrated because it was barely rated at all to begin with. but yeah, i like it. but i think he sounds like an AZ clone and has almost no personality, no true storytelling ability, and his voice doesn't cut through the beat nearly as nice as it does on his major label albums. the rhymes are killer though. in terms of multisyllable stuff, its his best rhyming for sure. although i like the variation in his later rhymes, having multiple internal rhymes going on at once. just a personal preference.
