it's also interesting to see that freddie king made the list. perhaps then stevie ray vaughn's "lenny" and/or "riviera paradise" could make it too.

Couldn't Telstar move up? First British #1 single in the US gotta cound right? There are some songs ahead of it i don't know, so i wouldn't say exactly where to put it, but range 10-15 i'd guess...

Why is "YYZ" so low and "Eruption is so high?" YYZ is a great instrumental with three talented musicians giving there all. "Eruption" is just Eddie Van Halen playing the randomest guitar solo and I don't even know why it is even considered a song. Maybe because Alex hits the drum once at the beginning??

Because Eruption was much more revolutionary and influential.
I prefer YYZ and it's obviously a "better" song (though that's subjective), it nowhere near the impact, influence, etc., of Eruption.
