And how can you corroborate that "Whole Lotta Love" is scores better on criteria than "Kashmir". This is music that is totally based on personal preference and no criteria exist.

I'd say "Whole Lotta Love" was a significant influence on metal, and I'd be hard-pressed to explain how "Kashmir" has much influence. "Whole Lotta Love" was a top 5 hit; "Kashmir" wasn't a single. They both have a good deal of lasting popularity.

Kasmir gets old real fast, its awesome but monotonous. I think there's loads of songs that are better.

I don't agree. It is monotonous but something's special in that song

Wow It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that thinks Kashmir gets old pretty quick. I do think it's a great song but after a while it gets a bit old and I want to move on to the next song and not listen to Kashmir for a while. I prefer their shorter and faster paced songs along with slow songs like No Quarter, Tangerine and Thank You.
