I'm not sure what this list is supposed to be. You have at number three a band that only existed for one night, only recorded a couple of songs, and didn't release anything for a couple of decades. By what criteria is it the third greatest supergroup of all time?

Some of these (Little River Band, for example) are hard to see as supergroups.

Brett, I don't think there's any conceivable criteria of any sensibility (or objectivity, for that matter) that would merit the Dirty Mac that position.

That was kind of my point.

They were still a supergroup. Maybe 3 is too high but it consisted of rock's greatest legends. a reason they are at that level but they do lack on criteria so i will lower them. Are there any other remarks you would like to make?

Take the list and shove it up your ass. Pause for a moment. How does the list feel? Discard the list. Don't ever even think about doing it again. Have a big cup of coffee.

I'd rather continue with the process of fucking your mother's lungs out.

That does sound like a very interesting idea.

On a more serious note: Make objective criteria first, by which you rank all those artists. Before you have done that there is no basis for an intelligent discussion. And that goes for all of your lists.

Omfg, a list of arbitrarily placed personal favorites without any objective basis will never be okay.

That goes for all lists. Unless we know how you determined the rankings for all the items on your list, we won't be able to discuss the list with you. The most common set of criteria for lists on this site includes popularity (initial and lasting), influence (innovation, popularization, sometimes inspiration), impact (musical and cultural) and sometimes critical acclaim. Subjective criteria (i.e. everything based on your personal opinion, such as musical quality) should not be taken into consideration. There may be a post somewhere that explains some of the criteria in detail but I don't know where it is. But if you have any questions in that regard we are always happy to help you out.

I think that only moderators and admins are able to delete posts but you can always edit the content of your posts.

At least he/she is trying, I'm so damn lazy I haven't even considered making a threaded list on this forum yet.
