Bob Marlin is the current head men's basketball coach at University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the former head coach at Sam Houston State University. In 2003, he guided the Bearkats to their first NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2010 he guided the Bearkats back to the Tournament for only the second time.

Yo, piper. The tribute page seems to be about someone else.

I don't come round these parts much so I have to ask how do we come to a consensus on a new artist tribute page?

So you have a page for Mingus and Gillespie but none for Charlie Parker? Maybe JRA's question will help answer mine as well.

I don't think we need a consensus. If someone puts together a decent artist tribute page, there's a pretty good chance lew will add it to the site as I understand it.

Paul's pretty much right. Lew decides what tribute pages to put up based on what gets submitted to him, so if there's no Charlie Parker page, it probably means no one has put a good one together. I would guess that no one has even attempted one.

Alright, I see. Maybe I'll try a few if I ever get around to it.

Make one? As in actually go on dreamweaver or whatever and put one together text, spacing, templates and all?

I think all you have to do is submit the text to Lew and he creates the templates and adds the pictures. Sampson, Bruce, and JB Trance have made pages and I haven't, so they could tell you for sure. Or Lew could.

Yes, Lew does the website work. You send him the text, and you can also send him any specific pictures or other graphics that you want to have him use, and let him know how you want it set up.
